Oluwakemi Oso

Senior program manager

Oluwakemi “Kemi” Oso (she/hers) has been working within progressive tech spaces since 2015. Her “Left Brain, Right Soul” philosophy leans on her experience as a data engineer, and background as an organizer for reproductive justice and founding organizing chair of BYP100’s DC chapter. This holistic approach uses pop culture & accessible language to break down data & tech concepts - making them more accessible to folks of all backgrounds. Kemi coordinated re:power’s Data x Tech Movement Fellowship in partnership with Ford Foundation, and has trained thousands of organizers.

In 2020, she began working with the Cooperative Impact Lab as a Data Consultant for their Fair Housing cohort. As Senior Program manager, she is excited to establish CIL as the “R&D wing of the movement”, bringing innovative practices to smaller organizations who often get left behind.
